The enemy is always trying to distract and stop us from serving God and doing His will. The apostle Paul said: "For indeed, when we came to Macedonia, our bodies had no rest, but we were troubled on every side. Outside were conflicts, inside were fears." 2 Cor 7:5 Who said it would be easy to obey God? It wasn't easy for apostle Paul andit won't be easy for us. You will be misunderstood, rejected, mocked, especially by other Christians, (the ones feeling convicted by your obedience to your call) but His peace and love will always be there to comfort you (read rest of chapter). It is time to leave childish things and be mature and responsible with what God has entrusted you, a calling to serve and obey only Him.

It is a blessing when the Holy Spirit leads you and reveals His will for your life. It is always the case that before a blessing (victory) comes there is a battle (trials and tribulations). Amongst the people of God there is the belief that if anything is coming from God, then it will be easy. That has not been my personal experience. First you need to define in prayer if the Word that you have received comes from God and then ask for confirmation. When you are sure of it and there is peace in your heart then it is time to launch in faith. This stage (moving by faith) is when the enemy will try to stop you and at that point your “faith will be tested” 1 Peter 1:6-7 When I went in obedience to Zacatecas, Mexico, the Lord did not tell me how long I would be going for, so I bought a one way ticket. Thanks to those who prayed and to those who participated. When I arrived to Zacatecas the Lord opened doors to preach in Miguel Auza, San Marcos and Juan ldama. The Lord gave me an anointing to share His Word and He confirmed it in the hearts and lives were transformed with His presence. To Him be the glory! There were moments of praying for the sick, setting the captives free and to give counseling to people in need. During the first few days I was questioning the reason why He had sent me and I wasn’t sure of the purpose. The Lord spoke to me and showed me that it had been Him the one who had sent me and that everything I was doing, counseling, praying for people, preaching, and every door opening that everything was His will. Our lives as Christians, when we walk in obedience, is a life full of purpose 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 360 days a year. Don’t doubt, walk with the full assurance that He has your life in the palms of His hands. Isaiah 49:16 Fourteen days after arriving there, the Lord placed peace in my heart that I had fulfilled His will there, I proceeded to buy the return ticket, the Lord provided, and on the way back I visited the Bible institute in Jalisco. I saw those young ministers hungry to serve God and to consecrate their lives completely to the Great Commission. I preached in the institute and in a mission in Cuisillos. We also went to minister to the jail in Tala and there were 32 prisoners. Pray for the institute, they are planning to send 3 missionaries to Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua. Also 2 missionaries will be going to Peru. The rest of the missionaries will serve in several states of Mexico. Please continue to pray for the missionary work in Mexico, for the project of sending missionaries in February 2013. Pray for the other Bible institute in Las Milpas Sinaloa, they will start in the last week of January 2013. Pray for the projects of church planting. Also for the teams from the Slavic churches who will be going to Mexico in December, for protection and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Above all, pray for a revival of evangelism, so that millions of new souls may come into the kingdom of God. Jesus is coming soon!!! Your brother, Ildefonso Arguelles TRIP TO MEXICO APRIL 26 TO MAY 7, 2012
Dear Brethren: I would like to share this report about what God did during the missionary trip to Sinaloa and Jalisco from April 26 to May 7, 2012. See photos and videos. A team of three of us went which included Oleg and Kirill from Light to the World Church in Seattle. These missionaries preached in all the churches and missions we are connected to in Mexico. There was much fruit in all the services and God poured down His presence. There were testimonies about how God broke the chains of the oppressed, restored marriages, and filled many with His Holy Spirit. Our trip began in Las Milpas, Sinaloa with missionaries Salvador and Carmen Meza. We saw the growth of that mission. There are many new Christians and they are hungry for God. On April 28 we attended the sixth graduation of the Bible institute there and six students graduated. Some of them will return to be send out to churches and missions in Sinaloa and Jalisco for six weeks. We were also present on May 5 on the graduation of the Bible institute in Puerta de la Vega, Jalisco with pastor Abraham and Lidia Zepeda. In that place there were twelve students who had already completed their classes and also had just returned from a mission trip of three months. Two of them were sent to the country of Peru and had a great missionary experience by traveling all over the country. Two more were in Sinaloa and helped there as teachers and the rest were sent to San Antonio, Pacana, Buenavista, Ayutla, Cuisillos and La Vega, all of these in the state of Jalisco. I was really impressed by these brave twenty men and women of God. The testimonies I heard were powerful and we celebrated the faithfulness of God. They told of healings of cancer, also of how they prayed for a person who was terminally ill and how God healed her, and how many people accepted Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Both institutes have the same intensive program of theory with classes like: Theology, Evangelism, Compared Religions, Daniel and Revelations, Church Growth, etc. This is learned during the day and in the afternoons and weekends they practice it at churches, missions and cell groups. When they are sent to the mission, for six weeks or for three months, they preach, disciple, evangelize and win many souls. Many churches have been planted and many others have grown thanks to this effort. In ECEA, we are preparing for an explosion of revival in Mexico and thousands of souls will come to Christ and from Mexico many missionaries will go to the nations. There are many candidates for missionaries. Our vision and desire is to continue to work with the institutes, work with missionaries, coordinate mission trips, establish churches, promote church growth and to encourage those being called by God to take their place in the body of Christ and do the will of God for their lives. Many are called but few are chosen. Sincerely Ildefonso Arguelles May God bless you
I thank you for your prayers for the trip which took place from December 16 to January 8, 2011. It was a blessing for me and my family. The Lord protected us all the way, as we drove up to Miguel Auza, Zacatecas and made two stops, one in Mexicali with my father and brothers, and in San Antonio, Texas with the family of Elsa. As previously announced a large group of church Light to the World, of Bellevue Washington went to Zacatecas and another team to Sinaloa. This team was a great blessing in Zacatecas. Through the drama of the birth of Jesus and his purpose on this earth to save the world, many heard the gospel for the very first time and many accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There were several setbacks along the way, and lost two days of service, but in total there were five evangelistic services in different towns and cities. Four were in the city center of these places and there was like about a thousand people in total (between children and adults) who attended these services. In addition to the main drama, they handed out sweets and toys. Pastor Maximo Reyes was the one who hosted this group of sixteen people and organized all tjhe events. In those days there were many reports of what is happening in the area, vehicle theft, assault, kidnapping and always wherever we went we were in at least three to four vehicles for safety. Every day in the morning and evening the team prayed for the activities, for protection and anointing and the glory of God descended and renewed these young people and adults who had prepared for months in practice and collected funds for trip. Everybody was very happy and eager to return next time. Keep praying for ECEA Ministries, we helped with the coordination of these trips and we always need volunteer interpreters to accompany us. Sincerely, Ildefonso Arguelles |
